The state will finance reservists travel on Route 6 - voila! vehicle. The matter arose because of the need of the reservists, who do not have public transportation on weekends, to reach their units.
The Ministry of Defense announced that it would bear half of the cost required to finance the additional expenses. The arrangement already in effect from October 7 until the end of 2024. Also for traveling through the Carmel tunnels there will be refunds for soldiers. The discussions on the bill seeking to grant an exemption from the fee for soldiers on their way to reserve service, of MK Hanoch Malbitsky, will only start in early 2025.
