"Berlin Blues" follows a couple who immigrate to the German capital to open a new chapter there. They discover that the past, the anxiety and violence of the Middle East are chasing them away.
The series is created by Dana Idisis and Itamar Rothschild and directed by Ram Nahari. It is an atmospheric series, such that its episodes stand on their own as short films, without really having a big story with a beginning, middle and end, says producer DanaIdisis.
