A Toyota Yaris Cross overturned, a popular crossover not known for special stability problems. The driver and his student were slightly injured.

Despite all the active safety systems, there is no problem turning a modern crossover, even when driving at city speeds. All it takes is a hit from another car, going up at the wrong angles and speed on a sidewalk, and the vehicle will roll on its side and sometimes end up upside down. This is not how a driving lesson should end. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
