Trial of the fatal sinking of the “Breiz”: “I did everything I could do”. On the second day of hearing before the Le Havre maritime court, the boss of the lifeboat which towed the trawler, tried for his part in the tragedy.
The investigation as well as the report of a first expert heard seem unanimous: the conditions of the towing partly explain the fatally sinking. Everyone here, whatever side they are on, salutes “a very great sailor”
