Two Basque activists who wanted to “neutralize” the military arsenal of the ETA organization in 2016 tried in Paris. Jean-Noël Etcheverry, 59 years old today, and former journalist Béatrice Molle, 68 years old, are on trial this Tuesday and Wednesday in Paris for carrying, transporting and possessing weapons.
Five people in total were arrested during this operation led by French investigators in cooperation with the Spanish Guardia Civil on December 16, 2016, but three have since died.
