Bones belonging to Émile Soleil, two and a half years old, were found in Haut-Vernet. The boy was seen for the last time on July 8.
The circumstances of the death remain to be clarified and all avenues are still open. “The area has been raked, the dogs have passed, these are paths taken by hunters,” asks François Balique, the mayor of Vernet. The objective will therefore be to determine scientifically whether the body was indeed in this place as soon as the child disappeared.
