Sora is a new AI tool capable of creating ultra-realistic videos with just text. The tool offers - upon user demand - cinema-quality clips of up to one minute in length.
Only a limited number of people can try it in this testing phase. Sora is a basis for "programs capable of understanding and simulating the real world," says OpenAI. It hopes that this will be an "important stage in the realization of AGI", Artificial General Intelligence, a highly autonomous system that would outperform humans.
