"Cats" is one of the most searched terms and videos starring felines add up to billions of views. A study carried out by Jessica Gall Myrick, professor at The Media School at Indiana University (USA), focuses on the responses of 7,000 people who surf the Internet to see this type of content.

The participants were asked if these types of publications affected their mood and how often they logged on to see these animals. The results were surprisingly positive. Those interviewed said they felt more energetic and optimistic after viewing one of these videos.
