Worms found in brain of man who ate undercooked bacon. A 52-year-old man had to be treated by doctors after his migraines suddenly worsened.

This was due to the presence of the tapeworm larvae in his brain. The patient had never been to a known risk area for this pathology. His only trip outside the United States was two years ago and consisted of a stay in the Bahamas. The occurrence of such a phenomenon may raise questions in terms of food management and public health.
