Alleged perpetrator of the stabbings which cost the life of an 18-year-old boy on March 12 has been placed in pre-trial detention. While the investigation was initially opened for “voluntary homicide’, the 17- year-old suspect was indicted for ‘assassination’ The victim received several stab wounds to the abdomen and died from his injuries on the sidewalk of Tchaikovsky Street despite the intervention of emergency services.
In front of the Paris prosecutor’s office, the suspect said: “I’m not guilty.”
