Football star as a series actor: Neymar plays in "House of Money"

From Ball Artist to Monk: Neymar appears as a guest in the Netflix series "House of Money". Only now, because because of a rape allegation his acting debut had been removed first.

With this guest appearance was a wish for Neymar true: "I could fulfill my dream and be part of my favorite series," wrote the 27-year-old on Twitter. The striker from Paris St. Germain has a guest appearance in the third season of Netflix's "House of Money": Neymar plays a Brazilian monk named Joao.

Eu pude realizar meu sonho e fazer parte da minha série favorita. E agora eu posso compartilhar o João com todos vocês!

However, his appearance in two episodes of the series had initially been cut out because a Brazilian model had accused him of rape. Neymar admitted to having met the woman, but rejected the rape allegations. After the Brazilian police stopped the investigation against the footballer last month, the sixth and eighth episode of the squadron were now taken along with the Neymar scenes in the program.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor has stopped the investigation against the professional footballer. The investigators filed a motion with the competent court in the state of São Paulo not to pursue the case - and the court has since confirmed that there will be no charges.

The figure that Neymar plays in "House of Money" stands in stark contrast to his own appearance. "I do not like football and no parties," says the monk Joao among other things - Neymar would hardly say that of himself. Read the third season review here.
