A 55-year-old has died in the crash of a hang glider in the Allgäu. His 19-year-old daughter was seriously injured in the tandem flight on Tegelberg, the police said.
Father and daughter had started in good weather towards the valley, as the hang glider did not gain in height, tipped off and crashed onto a trail, it says in a statement from the police.
The 55-year-old died at the accident site, the daughter was hospitalized. Other people were not endangered or injured.
