Most recently he was in front of the camera for filming the children's program "Dandelion" in June 2019 - now the actor and cabaret artist Helmut Krauss died at the age of 78 years. This was announced by ZDF.
In "Dandelion" he was known as always grumpy neighbor Hermann Paschulke an audience of millions - from 1981 to 2005 Krauss played the role as a Biedermann counterpart to the more unconventional and eco-driven Peter Lustig, who died in 2016. After that, he appeared in nearly 60 episodes with lead actor Guido Hammesfahr in the program. Krauss died according to ZDF on Monday.

According to ZDF, the "dandelion" editorial team remembers Helmut Krauss as "someone who knew how to enjoy life in the midst of the most stressful work". Acting had been a matter of the heart for him. In addition, Krauss also appeared as a voice actor in films and lent his voice to prominent actors such as Marlon Brando.
