Not enough nominations for prizes, too many discrepancies: Kirsten Dunst looked back at her career in an interview - and says she is disappointed.

Kirsten Dunst has certainly won prizes. For example, the best actress at the Cannes Film Festival 2011. For the Emmy, she has already been nominated. But for the 37-year-old, this apparently only conditionally counts: "I have experienced many disappointments," she has now said in an interview with the radio station Sirius XM.

She was never nominated for anything. In the next sentence, she corrected herself: OK, maybe twice for the Golden Globe. Nevertheless: "I have the feeling that people like many things I do later."

Examples? The film "Marie Antoinette" was first panned - now he likes everyone. The same applies in her eyes for "gracious good".

Dunsts conclusion: "I was never recognized by my industry." She wonders why this is so. Actually, they do everything that is necessary. "It's not that I'm rude or do not advertise."

Her guess: "Maybe you still see me in the girl of 'Bring it on'". The film was released in Germany under the title "Girls United", haze plays in the comedy a cheerleader.

At the end of the day, says Dunst, while counting only the work. She was smart enough to know that. "But sometimes I say to myself: It would be nice to be appreciated by my peers."
