British pop star Ellie Goulding got married. In traditional white with veil and train, the 32-year-old gave the art dealer Caspar Jopling, 27, the yes-word. The two have been dating for two years.
For the wedding in the medieval cathedral of York about 350 kilometers north of London a lot of celebs appeared, including singer Katy Perry with her boyfriend, the Hollywood star Orlando Bloom. Singer James Blunt, actress Sienna Miller and the cousins of Prince William and Prince Harry, the princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, with their mother Sarah, Duchess of York attended the wedding.
Goulding had sung at the wedding of Prince William and his wife Kate in 2011, and was invited as a guest at Princess Eugenie's wedding last October. Hundreds of onlookers stood in front of the church and could not be stopped by a heavy rain shower to see the celebrities.
