At an open-air concert of rapper Casper and Marteria in Essen, there was a serious accident. A spokeswoman for the police Essen told the SPIEGEL in the late evening that 30 people were injured, some of them seriously. Two people are thus in mortal danger.
What exactly led to the injuries and whether spectators or stage personnel were injured, was still unclear in the late evening. "The patients are being cared for," said a fire department spokesman. Many people would have suffered a shock.
