After the fatal shots on a 39-year-old man in Wetzlar in Hesse, the suspect has faced the police. The 27-year-old man accompanied by his lawyer appeared at a police station, said the prosecutor Wetzlar and the police in a joint statement.
The victim had been shot on Sunday night. The 39-year-old later died in the hospital.
In connection with the case policemen searched a restaurant and a games library in Ehringshausen and two apartments in Aßlar. The reason was that during the investigation "indications of violations of the weapons law" would have emerged. In the actions were special task forces of the Hessian and Rhineland-Palatinate police used.
"At the end of the search and the continued investigation conducted the 27-year-old suspects accompanied by his lawyer at a police station," said prosecutor and police. On Wednesday, they want to announce details of the results of the investigation.
The investigation for violations of the weapons law is directed against two men from the Lahn-Dill district. Details on the two have not yet been made.
