Man forgets heroin in the tram

The owner of a considerable amount of illegal drugs has made the investigation of the Bremen police easy: He not only forgot a bag full of heroin in the train - but also his passport.

The 59-year-old had left a bag with two plastic bags full of heroin in a tram, as the investigators said. The sports bag was therefore already submitted on Tuesday evening with a driver of the Bremen tram AG, which then brought in the company's lost property office.

There, a staff member noticed, according to police an unusual strong smell. She opened the bag, found the bags and called the police. Since apart from the drugs also a wallet with identity card was in the bag, the officials could arrest the owner of the drugs a little later at his home in Braunschweig.
