Erkelenz District Court sentenced a 62-year-old man to one year and ten months in prison on probation. The naturopath had hypnotized a patient into deep hypnosis and asked for sexual acts.
He tried to convince the woman that both of them were world-famous porn stars and needed to practice for a new film, the presiding judge said in his verdict.
The patient had not participated, so it had remained in the attempt. The court condemned the man for attempted sexual assault at the expense of a will-less person and illicit drug possession.
In September 2017, the patient secretly recorded a session and turned on the police. They had previously had nightmares and a suspicion against the man, it said. During a house search, the police found drugs in the man.
The 62-year-old had admitted to the court in the non-public session, the allegations. His admission as a naturopath, he has lost, according to the information meanwhile. He now works as an animal health practitioner.
