In Berlin-Mitte, four people were killed in a serious traffic accident. Among the victims is also a toddler, as the fire department wrote on Friday night on Twitter. A car had driven onto a sidewalk at the corner of Invalidenstrasse and Ackerstrasse.
The Berlin police also wrote on Twitter that the intersection had been widely closed and asked not to hinder the forces on the ground.
The accident happened around 19 o'clock. According to information from the Berlin "Tagesspiegel" several passers-by are said to have been witnesses of the accident and to be mentally cared for.
