A five-year-old boy has been injured on a playground in the Thuringian town of Sonneberg by a taut steel cable. That is what the police said.
According to this, the child was riding a bicycle when it hit its neck against the rope, which was about five millimeters thick. The rope was repeatedly stretched in front of the entrance to the football field area.
The boy was reportedly hospitalized. The father had alarmed the police after the incident on Friday. The officials are now investigating, inter alia, on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm against unknown.
