Fire in a multiple dwelling: Ten people have been injured in a fire in Gelsenkirchen, including seven seriously injured children, according to a fire department spokesman. Two more people are thus in mortal danger.
The building could no longer be entered, therefore one had requested height rescuers. The special forces are to search the house for Brandnestern and other persons. Missing, however, do not exist.

For the use of the height rescuers, the partially destroyed roof of the building had been covered. The procedure is difficult. In the afternoon, the police said the fire was extinguished. How it came to the fire is still unclear.
Several emergency physicians and a large contingent of rescue workers from Gelsenkirchen and Essen are on site. Two rescue helicopters are used to transport the injured. The area around the accident site was shut off.
