It was ambitious with the men's magazine started with a circulation of 200,000 copies. Meanwhile, the circulation is still about 50,000 magazines. This is quite satisfactory in the market of men's magazines, said a spokeswoman, and the advertising revenues have moved to a good level.
However, Verlag and Winterscheidt had decided to end the project - for the time being. It could possibly be resumed later. "It's not easy for us all, but it's true," said Winterscheidt about the decision in an interview with the industry portal "Meedia".
"JWD" is a reportage magazine, which appeared ten times a year, chubby in the speech, hedonistic in habitus. G + J joins the segment of personality titles, ie magazines with prominent names and faces - such as "Barbara" by and with Barbara Schöneberger, "Guido" with Guido Maria Kretschmer, and the magazines of Eckart von Hirschhausen, Footballer Jérôme Boateng and the influencer Holly Becker.
