In the US state of Arizona, a small plane flew into an airport building. The crash occurred at nine o'clock Tuesday morning in the Ak-Chin community in Pinal County.
The two inmates, a flight instructor and his student, were injured in a hospital, said a fire department spokesman.
According to the US aviation authority crashed the single-engine aircraft shortly after takeoff. An employee of Ak-Chin Airport was inside the building when the Ercoupe 415-C crashed into the roof. He was unhurt.
The cause of the accident is still unclear. The US Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Authority (NTSB) have taken over the investigation.
The local regional airport is located approximately 70 kilometers southeast of Phoenix and is operated by the Ak-Chin community, descendants of Native Americans.
