The lawyer in the letter "in fact confirmed that an acute health problem could have been the cause of the accident," said the spokesman for the Berlin prosecutor's office on Monday evening the RBB Abendschau. "The hints and speculations, as they existed from the beginning, have now made more concrete."
After the accident on September 6, the passenger had given the police an indication of a possible epileptic seizure of the driver. The police raided the driver's home on Friday and provided evidence. Whether the prosecutor seized drugs or even computers and cell phones is not known.
