The police in Herford, North Rhine-Westphalia, investigate a man who is suspected of possessing pornographic and youth pornographic material. The living areas of the man had been searched on Monday, said police and prosecutors.
The "Westfalen-Blatt" and the "Bild" newspaper report that there was also a search on a campsite in the city. Two caravans were confiscated. A spokesman for the police did not confirm that.
The searches were preceded by a reference to the police, according to the authority. One ensured a PC, laptops as well as several hundred CDs. There is, unlike the case in Lügde, no suspicion of abuse against the 56-year-old, said the spokesman.
