"Friends" birthday: "We are connected"

Recently, several of the former actors had given insights into the origin of the series. For example, Lisa Kudrow revealed the problems she had with the role of the somewhat simple Phoebe. She got the job in 1994 mainly by coincidence and luck. "That's why I had to work hard to be Phoebe." Her colleague, Matt LeBlanc, played in the series Joey Tribbiani.

LeBlanc realized after a while that something was wrong with her - and offered to help, three years after the start of the first filming. So she told him that she was completely overwhelmed. His answer: "You make too much of an effort, that's your problem, you do not have to make an effort, be relaxed." Did it help? "He was right," Kudrow said.

"Friends", one of the most successful series in TV history, ran from 1994 to 2004 and made the main characters to top stars. Apart from Kudrow and LeBlanc, they included Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

Kudrow had recently revealed that the stars in the series are still in contact today, albeit to varying degrees: "Women more than men." In June, Aniston and Kudrow had their colleague Courteney Cox celebrate their 55th birthday.

In addition, Aniston recently fueled speculation about a "Friends" reunion: "I would do it," she said. The inventor of the series but obviously different, as the industry magazine Variety recently reported: "We will make no reunion and no reboot," said TV producer Marta Kauffman. "It would not surpass what we did."

It is quite possible that she is right.
