During an assignment, a stranger in Böblingen in Baden-Württemberg has repackaged an ambulance. The forces found the car about 70 meters away from the site, as the police in Ludwigsburg announced. The vehicle was parked for the forces out of sight.
According to the police, the vehicle parked on Thursday afternoon because of an engine-on, blue-light, and hazard-warning lights on the road to ensure immediate medical attention. This blocked the road.
Because of a technical defect, the driver of the ambulance could not - as usual in such cases - run the engine and remove the ignition key. He had to put down the key, leave the door open, and assist his colleagues with the emergency patient.
This situation apparently took advantage of an unknown: When the rescue workers wanted to bring the patient to the vehicle, this was gone. The paramedics first had to search for the car and then drive back to work to bring the woman to a hospital.
The police are now investigating the disability of people who are helping and looking for witnesses. According to initial findings, it should have acted in the unknown to the driver of a small car.
