Weather for the weekend: towards the sun

A few days ago, an autumn storm swept across northern Germany. But now the summer dares another tender comeback.



Just in time for the weekend, the weather has calmed down again. After mid-week a direction Baltic pulling storm low in the north and northeast of Germany affected the rail traffic, in the coming days only weak to moderate wind from southeast to southwest blowing, as the forecast of the German Weather Service (DWD) emerges.

Accordingly, it should be on Saturday in the north and northeast initially even cloudy. In the course of the day, according to the forecast, however, it will be sunny and dry, as in the rest of the country. According to the weather service, the maximum temperatures climb to 18 degrees on the coasts and up to 26 degrees on the Saar and Moselle.

Also on Sunday it should stay dry according to DWD in many places. In the west and south-west, however, there may be more cloud fields and, in the evening, occasionally showers of rain or occasional thunderstorms. In the rest of the country it remains according to forecast but still sunny or at least cheerful and dry. The maximum values ​​should be between 23 and 27 degrees.

For Monday, the weather service predicts more cloud cover for large parts of the country, only in the northeast, it remains therefore still serene and dry. Widespread chill-like, occasionally thunderstorm rain fall. On the Alps also longer lasting rain. The maximum values ​​are according to DWD between 17 degrees in continuous rain on the Alps and at 23 degrees in Brandenburg.
