In Hanover, the trial of a 44-year-old has begun, which is said to have locked her daughter, including in an overnight in a dog box and tortured with an electric collar. In front of the district court, the woman has now rejected the allegations.
The prosecution accuses her of having beaten the then six- and seven-year-olds several times between August 2016 and September 2017 with a whip and pieces of wood, among other things, in order to sanction the allegedly faulty behavior of the child. She is also said to have exposed it in a forest. The indictment is for serious mistreatment of wards. The woman also has a four-year-old daughter.
Before the district court, the defendant now described at length her life and commented on the allegations. She grew up with foster parents. Her big daughter often made up stories that were not true, the woman said.
The points from the prosecution they have "dramatically different," said a spokesman for the court. Basically, she denied the allegations. For example, the child had created himself for playing a dog collar, that she had taken him back immediately. According to the mother, the girl was difficult to raise, she regularly used pedagogical help.
The girl's father does not live with the family, but in one case is supposed to have freed the crying child, who is only clothed in underwear, from the locked metal box. Against the man is determined separately. Both girls were taken after becoming aware of the allegations of the youth welfare office in custody.
According to the indictment, the nine-year-old victim today has a strong attachment disorder as a result of mental suffering.
