In the Turkish province of Adana, a bomb attack has been perpetrated on a police bus. As the news agency Ilhas reports, it is still unclear whether people were harmed. Ambulances were on the way to the crime scene in the district Yuregir, it said.
The newspaper Hürriyet showed photos of the burned bus and reported many wounded. The police vehicle and surrounding cars had been damaged in the attack.
Nothing is known about the backgrounds. With more than 1.8 million inhabitants, Adana is the fifth largest city in Turkey. In November 2016, two people were killed and more than 30 injured in an attack on a government building. No one pleaded for the attack, the government blamed the PKK.
