2019-09-25T17:49:36.893Z

Axel Prahl calls the character Frank Thiel a "loner", whom he plays in the Münster crime scene. He can not identify with him. Also because he and the commissioner are different characters.

As Kriminalhauptkommissar Frank Thiel Axel Prahl is in the Münster "crime scene" to see. The 59-year-old actor and musician finds his character quite strange, he told the magazine "Bunte".

"Thiel is unmusical, does not smoke, is very orderly, he is often ill-tempered and often rude, to absolutely not open to new people, a loner and football fanatic," he said. He definitely was not.

The actor commented not only on his "crime scene" role, but also on his third marriage: this should also be his last. "I'm absolutely convinced of that - it just suits everything," said the 59-year-old. He has been married to Silja Prahl for five years.

Understanding of his wife

Love is also a belief that things are going well - "and that compromises can always be found," said Prahl. "But my wife understands my life rhythm."

The next case of "Tatort" team Prahl and Jan Josef Liefers is announced for the 3rd of November in the first. In the thriller "Crime Scene: Liquorice" the investigators Frank Thiel and Karl-Friedrich Boerne are on the track of the killer of Munster's market master. One of the many traces leads the two to a liquorice factory, to Boerne's first love and to a long-ago case.
