A 97-year-old female patient was fatally injured in a patient transport in an accident in Saxony-Anhalt. The patient transport drove on early Wednesday evening on a highway through Jerichow, as turned off a car on a side street, as the police announced.
The driver of the ambulance had to brake so hard that the 97-year-old was thrown out of her transport chair and suffered severe injuries. She died a little later in the hospital. The car driver drove on without stopping.
