A motorist has fled to Essen after an accident - but he has apparently made the bill without his dachshund. According to the police, the unknown damaged a parked car with his white compact car while turning. Although a passer-by had told him about the damage, he drove off. The passenger door of the car opened and a dachshund jumped out.
Whether the animal actually intentionally left the car or fell out is not known. However, the police write with a wink that the dog "apparently did not tolerate the wrongful behavior of his presumed master and wanted to be made an accomplice." That's why he took off.
The unschacked dachshund had been taken to the police station by the police and "provided with treats and water". Now take care of the Essen shelter for the dog.
The police hope that the keeper will report. So the dachshund could convict his supposedly accident-prone master.
