The US band Metallica has postponed its planned mid-October tour in Australia and New Zealand to an unknown period. Reason for addiction problems of her singer James Hetfield, the other band members said on Twitter. Unfortunately Hetfield had to go back to treatment.

Hetfield's bandmates write that they are "devastated that we cause so many of you inconvenience, especially our most loyal fans who travel long distances to experience our shows."
The first concert of the tour should have taken place on 17 October in Perth, Australia, the last concert on 2 November in Auckland. All already purchased cards would be refunded, the band said.
Concerts should be made up
"We plan to make our way into your part of the world as soon as the health and schedule allow," the band promised, promising to catch up on the concerts. "We will inform you as soon as possible."
Metallica, founded in 1981 in Los Angeles, is one of the most successful heavy metal bands in the world. The band has sold more than 100 million albums, their biggest hits include songs like "Nothing Else Matters", "Harvester of Sorrow" and "The Unforgiven".
