French "Spiderman" is climbing Frankfurt skyscraper

Robert had been seriously injured twice at a young age, doctors had diagnosed a 66 percent disability and predicted that he would never be able to climb again. Since then he has climbed dozens of skyscrapers worldwide. Among the best known are the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Empire State Building in New York and the 508 meter high skyscraper Taipei 101.

After his daredevil conquest of the Frankfurt skyscraper Robert was received by police officers and initially taken into custody. The climbing action is an administrative offense, police said. In addition, it will be examined whether the climber must answer for trespassing.
