Since the break Bushido fears the wrath of the clan. In a "star" interview in September 2018, his wife Anna-Maria Ferchichi said she was "afraid that someone would shoot me or my husband for revenge".
In November 2018, police special forces raided the property of Arafat Abou-Chaker in Kleinmachnow near Berlin. In January 2019, he was temporarily detained. Police arrested him during a trial in which he was charged with assault. Because of "missing grounds" he was released about two weeks later.
During the investigation, it was at times suspected that Arafat should have planned to abduct the rapper's wife and children. This accusation does not appear in the indictment. Arafat had immediately denied him last year.
