In Wald-Michelbach in Hesse, a toddler has been run over by a neighbor's car and succumbed to his injuries. The incident, about 30 kilometers northeast of Heidelberg, was, according to a first estimate by the police, a tragic accident.
As a result, the two-year-old girl had run unnoticed on Monday afternoon from his parents' home - right in front of the car of a neighbor who was talking to the child's mother. When the 42-year-old drove off in the car, the car hit the child and injured it life-threatening.
The girl was taken to a special clinic where, according to police, it died a little later. The two women suffered a shock, the mother of the child also had to be treated for medical treatment. The families of the women were also cared for by crisis intervention teams.
