"She said yes, our secret is out," Duchess Catherine's brother wrote to the post. "But we could not be happier sharing the news." The message was provided by Middleton with the hashtag #jalizee, which apparently stands for his name and that of his girlfriend, Alizee Thevenet.

The 32-year-old is the youngest son of the Middleton family and the last of her children to marry. Catherine married Prince William in April 2011. His sister Pippa's wedding to investment banker James Matthews followed in May 2017. It is not yet known when exactly James Middleton and Alizee Thevenet will marry.
