Amy Schumer: Balance between child and career

2019-10-07T17:17:31.321Z

Three months after the birth of her son, US comedy Amy Schumer decided to work again. She thinks: It helps her to be a better mother.

Child or career? For US actress Amy Schumer this is not an "either-or" question. Five months ago, she gave birth to her son Gene Attell, and three months later, she works again. Why that was the right decision for her, Schumer has now said on Instagram.

"Like all mothers, I love him so much that it hurts," wrote Schumer in her Instagram posting. For this purpose, she shows two pictures in which she holds her son Gene Attell in her arms. To work again had not been easy for her: "I cried for a few days because I missed him so much."

But most of the time it's good to be back in work. "The breaks give me energy to be a better mother and so I enjoy our time together even more," she wrote. She feels strong and good. "I am still a human being with interests, ambitions and goals that I want to achieve."
