In this episode we meet the mindfulness coach Jacomo Fritzsche. For him, the topic of mindfulness is also a personal one. "I was in my early twenties in a state of permanent overload, very tense, lonely and frustrated," he says in the podcast. Since he meditates, he feels lighter and more open.
Jacomo is not alone. Mindfulness has become a trend, and not without reason: for the World Health Organization (WHO), stress is one of the greatest health threats of the 21st century.
"Our modern living environment has changed significantly: new media, digitization, smartphones - especially in our work context, our attention is exposed to a variety of stimuli - we have to process much more information than in the past," says Jacomo. "The meditation of mindfulness serves to understand how the mind works."
