Three years ago, Kim Kardashian was the victim of a robbery in Paris. At the time, masked intruders overwhelmed the reality TV star in a luxury residence during Fashion Week. They captured jewelry worth several million euros.
Apparently, Kardashian is still dealing with the incident today. The television station "E! Entertainment" described in detail her memories of the incident, as evidenced by interview extracts now published. So she brought all of her gems to Paris for a visit to Fashion Week - and showed in public a ring with a 20-carat diamond that her husband Kanye West had given her before.
The fact that she herself became an eyewitness to the crime was by all accounts a coincidence: according to her sister Kourtney, Kim Kardashian decided not to go out in the evenings after attending a fashion show - and stayed alone in the hotel room.

Kim Kardashian: Threatened, tied up, robbed"I was just falling asleep when I heard people come up the stairs," Kardashian said. The men would have asked them directly after the gems. "I did not resist, I gave them everything - and they tied me up, they tied tape over my eyes, over my mouth."
It was the scariest thing she had experienced in her life, Kardashian said. Her thought was: "You will die." At that moment, she expected to be shot by the perpetrators. To this day, this fear has effects: "These ten minutes have changed my entire life."
After the raid, Kardashian, who used to keep her fans on her personal life through social media, had not made public statements for three months. An insurance company later demanded more than six million dollars from one of their bodyguards, because he acted negligently before the robbery and should have so acted in the act.
In October last year Kardashian had already publicized in an interview how the robbery affected their mental health. "For more than a good year, I almost lost myself," she said. "I'm grateful for this experience, even though it was terrible." After the robbery, she had found her way back to herself after living in a bubble.
