For 55 years, photographers have been competing for the title "Wildlife Photographer of the Year". The competition is organized by the Natural History Museum in London. Now, this year's winners have been announced. This shot of the American David Doubilet won the Underwater category. It shows a colony of tube eels off the Philippine island of Negros. The animals are considered extremely shy. Doubilet managed his shot only because he hid behind a shipwreck - and triggered his camera with a twelve-meter-long cable from afar.
