Prince Harry on his brother: "We are in different ways"

2019-10-21T01:28:38.815Z

Rumors of a dispute between Prince Harry and his brother William have been around for months. Now, the younger of the two has commented on this for the first time in an interview.

Preliminary excerpts of the interview already existed last Friday, and already they met with keen interest. On Sunday night, the full program aired: "Harry and Meghan, An African Journey" is the title. Journalist Tom Bradby accompanied the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their recent trip to Africa and conducted several exclusive interviews with them.

At the same time, Prince Harry talked about rumors that had been going on for months, that there was a conflict between him and his older brother William Streit. "We are certainly in different ways at the moment," said 35-year-old Harry. "But I will always be there for him, just as I know he will always be there for me."

"As brothers you have good days, and you have bad days"

It was part of his role as part of his job and this family to be under pressure, and then, inevitably, things happened. "But we are brothers, and we will always be brothers." He and William would not see each other as often as they used to, both were busy. "But I love him very much." Most of the rumors were invented. "But as brothers, you have good days, and you have bad days."

The rumors of the family dispute had reached a climax in the middle of the year, and there was always talk of a supposed dispute between Meghan and her sister-in-law Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. At that time, Harry and his wife Meghan had withdrawn from the common foundation of the four royals to pursue their own projects. The two couples also separated spatially. And the once-shared Twitter account also left Harry and Meghan. Since then they are only represented on Instagram.

South Africa, Botswana, Angola and Malawi have come to an end, but The Duke and Duchess have had the opportunity to look back on an incredible 10 days. Thank you for following along! Their Royal Highness's journey took them 15,000 miles across southern Africa where they are greeted by so many amazing people along the way. They witnessed the great partnership between the UK and Africa, with local community groups, leaders, and youth and elders, who all imparted knowledge and inspiration. On their final day of the tour, The Duchess said: "During their tour, The Duke and Duchess unveiled Queensland Commonwealth Canopy projects, protecting forests and planting trees, and worked with the British Government to announce investment of £ 8m in technology and skills in the region. The Duke has gone to Angola to focus on the ongoing mission to rid of the world of landmines, an extension of the work that was pioneered by his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The Duchess announces gender grants from the Association of Commonwealth Universities to improve access to higher education for women, as well as four scholarships for students studying across the commonwealth. Throughout the world, they are talking about the rights of women and girls - not isolated to Southern Africa. Throughout the visit, The Duke and Duchess were visited by the Spirit and Generosity. Speaking to young entrepreneurs in Tembisa, a township in Johannesburg, The Duke said: "As I raise my own son, I want to make sure that's what I've learned here - the value of community and friendship - is something that I can pass on to him. In the one-hour special broadcast of the British broadcaster ITV Harry and Meghan also complained again the handling of the British tabloids with them. When asked how she copes with the pressure in her life, Meghan said, "Not many people have asked if I'm fine, but it's a very real thing to deal with behind the scenes." The question of whether the past two years were "really a fight", affirmed the 38-year-old. Every woman, especially if she is pregnant, is vulnerable.

It was not enough to survive, Meghan said. "That's not what life is about, you have to blossom, you have to feel happy."

Harry visited South Africa in September with Meghan and their son Archie. On his own, he traveled to Angola, Botswana and Malawi. He himself was active in various environmental and animal protection projects in southern Africa and calls the region his second home. Harry has known journalist Tom Bradby for a long time.

Just before the special broadcast was aired, an unnamed source from the Royals told CNN that Harry and Meghan were planning some kind of break from about mid-November to focus on their family. The three would probably spend their time in the United Kingdom and in the United States, the home of Meghan. However, this "family break" is not confirmed.
