At the Berlin subway station Kottbusser Tor, a man was knocked on the tracks at night. He was reportedly caught by a train pulling in, and so seriously injured that he died on the spot.
Accordingly, there was at midnight on the platform of the U8 a dispute between several people. The victim was pushed by another man and fell on the tracks.
Whether the killed was intentionally pushed or fell through the rip-off in front of the subway, was still unclear, said a police spokeswoman. The suspect is fleeting.
A murder commission took up the investigation. The police expects information about the crime scene, inter alia, from the evaluation of video recordings. The investigators did not provide any information on the identity of the victim and the other persons involved.
