Three teenagers aged 14 and 16 have stolen three pairs of shoes in a stairwell in Zwickau, Saxony. A neighbor in the apartment building drew the attention of the officials.
The police officer took up the persecution - and grabbed one of the thieves, the police said. Whether he succeeded barefoot, the officials did not know.
The other two teenagers were later discovered near the house while trying on the shoes of a patrol.
