Bushido's album "Sonny Black" should not be sold to children and teenagers. The Federal Administrative Court ruled that the record was rightly classified as harmful to minors. Thus, the judges corrected the judgment of the lower court and confirmed the decision of the Federal Examination Office to put the album on the index for youth-endangering media.
"The unrestrained presentation of violence runs through the titles," said Judge Thomas Heitz to the verdict. Women and homosexuals would be degraded by "vulgar language".
The Berlin rapper took part in the trial itself. He was "smeared down the line," Bushido said after the verdict. He was not anti-women or gay.
The album was released in February 2014, in April 2015, the Federal Examination Center for Media at Risk put it on the index and banned the sale to children and adolescents. The Berlin rapper sued against the list entry, the Administrative Court of Cologne rejected the lawsuit.
On appeal, the Higher Administrative Court of Münster decided last year for Bushido, the album was again sold to children and young people. As a result, the Federal Audit Office submitted a revision. The Federal Administrative Court gave her a final ruling.
