In the case of Christoph Metzelder there is a new accused: The Hamburg prosecutor investigates against the woman who claims to have received child pornography material from the former international. This was confirmed by a spokeswoman for SPIEGEL. First, "Focus" had reported.
The woman is accused, according to prosecutors, of having possessed several child pornographic image files. Instead of going directly to the police, she went with the material initially to third parties. Further information was not made by the spokeswoman for the prosecution.
The former football professional is said to have sent women pornographic images to WhatsApp. An indication of this, the investigators got according to their own information from the "Bild" newspaper. The case against Metzelder is now in Dusseldorf. He lives there.
