In December 2008, the only moderately successful amateur boxer Tyson Fury, named after former world champion Mike Tyson, made his professional debut. Nine months later, the 2.06-meter heavyweight boxer secured his first title. Against John McDermott (r.) He secured the English championship by a points victory after ten rounds. Only one out of eight victories, in which he had to go the full distance, the other nineteen fights he won prematurely.
