After a homicide in Passau, the police arrested a suspect. It was a 26-year-old man, said the authority. The man had asked early Saturday morning in the Hessian Wiesbaden. He is to be presented to the magistrate in Passau.
A 33-year-old man was found Thursday with a severe stab wound. He died a little later.
According to a police spokesman, initial investigations revealed that suspects and victims knew each other. Between the two men there had been a "long-smoldering dispute" said the spokesman.
The exact sequence is still unclear. The police had reported that the location of the victim at a pizzeria in the Innstraße was probably not the crime scene. The investigators continue to ask for evidence from witnesses.
